When I first saw the bike earlier in the week at the S&S CYCLE factory I was amazed of the craftsmanship and the unique frame design that Keiji hand fitted both all the tubing and fabricated the fittings that joined all the tubing.

 David Uhl’s latest series is a tribute to Gil Elvgren the best pin-up artist in the history of American illustration.  The series initial release came out about 6 months ago image with the first print edition being PLAYIN’ AROUND, followed by the second SHINE ‘ER UP and this weeks release of the third edition FIX “ER UP.

The series will ultimately contain 12 variations on this Vintage Pin-Up theme, and at some point become part of a calendar project.  In addition, some of the designs may eventually show up on other licensed Harley-Davidson products as well.

Owner of HB Spokes dies

William "Larry" Fowler, owner of HB Spokes Restaurant and Saloon, died Tuesday. He was 65.

According to the bar's Web site, friends are invited to join a memorial ride to visitation services at Lee Funeral Home Chapel on Friday. The visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m.
